Membership is open to English and non-English-speaking commercial, non-profit, community, accessible and educational theatres, regardless of Equity status, and to theatre artists, including actors, directors, playwrights, technicians, designers, educators and students.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

• The Talent Pool: The League publishes an annual contact booklet, called The Talent Pool, which lists all of our members, their contact information, union affiliations, and what their specialties are. Entry in the Pool is free to all members, but, for a modest additional fee, members may choose to have their picture included in a special section of the book. The Pool also lists all South Florida theatres and their contact information, along with the announced seasons of our member theatres.
• Website Talent Pool: A complete list of individual members and organizations, and scope of talent (including headshots of performers).
• Headshot & Resume Library: Be in a library of headshots and resumes of all members.
• Unified Auditions: Yearly auditions, held in February of each year, with representation from approximately 30 theatres in South Florida. Over 200 people are seen in one day.
• Weekly E-mail Updates: Receive weekly updates of news, audition notices, and other valuable information.
• Discounted Tickets: Individual members of the Theatre League are often offered discounted and FREE tickets to productions!
• Theatre Technicians and Designers: Stage managers, set, costume and light designers, carpenters and electricians may submit resumes to be included in the South Florida audition book, which is distributed to member theatre companies in South Florida.
• Quarterly Meetings, Roundtables, Seminars & Forums: The League offers many forums for meeting, education and networking with others in the theatre industry. The free exchange of information and expertise among peers aids participants in staying up-to-date with changes in the field while also receiving information that helps them improve and better analyze their own efforts.
• The Theatre League Hotline: Members can call the Hotline 24 hours a day for information on upcoming auditions, invitations to member theatres, and other information.
• Opportunities to study with nationally reputed playwrights such as Tina Howe, John Guare and Arthur Kopin: Downstage Miami, an initiative to benefit playwrights and Master Classes for Theatre League members.

• Marketing Support: Endless marketing support from our marketing committee and Theatre League staff, including an updated Marketing and Promotion manual.
• NETWORKING with all of the theatre companies in South Florida, including new email addresses collected from www.southfloridatheatre.com.
• Talent Pool: A copy of The Talent Pool, the yearly publication contact booklet that lists all members, contact information, union affiliations and headshots.
• Email Blasts: Add your events to a bi-weekly email blast that lists all upcoming auditions, plays, readings and special events pertaining to theatre in South Florida. This email goes out to all members of the league.
• Unified Auditions: Be a part of the yearly unified auditions, where you can see a wealth of new talent, and receive a book with of headshots and resumes for actors and theatre technicians in South Florida.
• Access to League Mailing Lists: The League's mailing list is a who's who of the theatre community in South Florida. This list is available to members on labels, on disk or by e-mail. Members not wishing to receive mail from other members may ask to be deleted from shared lists.
